Rest of the days in Nordic Junior Open
Lauantaina minulla oli kaksi peliä, jotka molemmat voitin!
Lauantain ensimmäinen peli oli aamulla 9.40 norjalaista vastaan, jonka voitin Tanskassa 3-1. Pelissä lyöntini sujuivat hyvin ja menivät minne halusinkin, eli kontrolloin pelin kulkua alusta loppuun. Peli päättyi minun 3-0 voittoon. Voitolla pääsin pelaamaan sijoista 9-12, joten seuraava peli oli samana iltana 18.00. Jäin pelin jälkeen katsomaan muiden suomalaisten pelejä, ja sitten lähdin hotellille lepäämään.
Lauantain toinen peli oli ruotsalaista vastaan, voitin pelin suoraan 3-0. Peli oli helppo, koska vastustajasta huomasi, että hän ei ole pelannut vielä paljoa. Koska peli oli ollut toisella hallilla (The Club Malmö), siirryimme muutaman muun suomalaisen kanssa takaisin Bellevuen hallille syömään, ja katsomaan pojat alle 19 semi finaalit. Kisoissa tehtiin myös suomalaista squash historiaa, kun kaksi suomalaispelaajaa selvitti tiensä P19 finaaliin!
Sunnuntaina minun viimeinen sijoituspeli oli 10.40, sijoista 9-10. Vastustajani oli Henrietta Huuhka Kuopiosta, hävisin pelin suoraan 3-0. Peli meni paljon paremmin mitä edelliset ottelut hänen kanssaan, mutta silti tuli liikaa omia tyhmiä virheitä.
Palasimme Suomeen myöhään illalla, joten meillä oli erittäin paljon aikaa ennen lentoa. Päätimme lähteä suoraan kentälle, jossa lopulta olimme kevyet 4 tuntia :D.
Kaiken kaikkiaan turnaus meni hyvin ja oli erittäin hieno kokemus, koska olinhan yksin matkassa ensimmäistä kertaa!
On Saturday, I had two games, and I won both!
Saturday's first match was in the morning at 9.40, against Norwegian whom I beat in Denmark 3-1. The game went well, and my shots went wherever I wanted to, and I controlled the flow of the game from start to finish. The match ended 3-0 in my victory. I was able to play for ranking 9-12, so the next game was the same day at 18.00. I stayed in the venue after the game to look at other Finns games, and then I went to the hotel to rest.
Saturday's second game was against the Swedes, I won the game to 3-0. The game was easy, because the opponent has not played much yet. Since the game was in the second hall (The Club Malmoe), we moved to with a few other Finns to the back of the Bellevue hall to eat, and watch the boys under 19 semi finals. In the tournament were also Finnish squash history when two Finnish players made their way to the finals BU19!
On Sunday, my last match was at 10.40, ranking 9-10. My opponent was Henrietta Huuhka from Finland also, I lost the game to 3-0. The game went much better what previous matches with her, but still became too much of my own stupid mistakes.
We returned to Finland late in the evening, so we had quite a lot time before the flight. We decided to go directly to the airport, and in the end we were at the airport about four long hours. :D
All in all, the tournament went well and was a very great experience, because I was alone in the tournament for the first time!

Day 1 in Nordic Junior Open, Sweden
Tämänpäivän herätys ei ollut mikään mieluisin, koska kello soi jo 5.00. Kotona söin vielä tukevan aamupalan ennen kentälle lähtöä. Kentällä kaikki sujui mutkitta, ja pääsin ennen kuin pahimmat ruuhkat ehtivät muodostua. Lento oli nopea ja meni ilman mitään ongelmia, Kööpenhaminasta jatkoimme junalla Malmöseen. Junamatka oli nopea, ja menimme sen jälkeen porukalla syömään.
Kun pääsimme lopulta Bellevuen hallille, minulla oli vielä kaksi tuntia aikaa, ennen pelini alkua.
Ensimmäinen peli oli ranskalaista 3/4 sijoittettua vastaan, lasikentällä. Hävisin ottelun selvästi 3-0 (11-2,11-3,11-0), vastustaja oli yksinkertaisesti vain niin paljon parempi. Lasikentällä pelaaminen on minulle harvinaista, ja tämä kenttä oli erittäin paljon erillainen kun Suomen lasikenttä Talissa. Kenttä oli minun mielestä huono ja vaikeasti pelattava, mutta peli ei siihen kaatunut, joten unohdetaan tämä asia.
Toinen pelini oli Ruotsalaista 5/8 sijoitettua vastaan, pelasin hänen kanssa jo viime viikolla Tanskassa. Hävisin tämän pelin 3-0 kuten Tanskassakin, nyt erät olivat 11-6, 11-3, 11-5. Ruotsalainen oli muuttanut taktiikkaansa viime viikosta, joten oli hieman hämilläni alussa. Pystyin kuitenkin tsemppaamaan, ja sain muutaman hyvänkin pallon voitettua!
Huomenna minulla on peli 9.30 niin ikään Bellevuen hallilla, Norjalaista 9/16 sijoitettua vastaan. Pelasin hänen kanssaan Tanskassa viimeisen ottelun, mutta nyt ei saa ottaa mitään ennakkoluuloja, vaan lähteä pelaamaan vain omaa peliä!
Today's woke up was not a favorite, as the alarm clock rings for 5.00. When I got to the airport, everything went well and I got before the worst rush time. The flight was quick and went without any problems, we continued by train from Copenhagen to Malmoe. The train ride was quick, and when we got to Malmoe, we went to eating before going to venue.
When we got to the end of Bellevue hall, I still had two hours before the start of my game.
The first game was against French 3/4 seeded in the glass court. I lost the match 3-0 clearly (11-2,11-3,11-0), the opponent was simply so much better. Playing in a glass court for me is rare, and this court was very much different what the Finnish glass court in Tali. Court was in my opinion a poor and difficult to play, but the game didn´t crashed about that thing, so forget about it.
The second game was against the Swedish 5/8 seeded, I played with her last week in Denmark. I lost the game now 3-0 as well as in Denmark, games were 11-6, 11-3, 11-5. The Swede had changed her tactics from last week, so it was a little confused at the beginning. However, I was able to fight until to the end and I got a few good balls.
Tomorrow I have a 9:30 game, also in Bellevue hall, against Norwegian 9/16 seeded. I played with her in Denmark, but now can not take any prejudices, but just go out to play my own game!

Has been bit lazy at writing but tomorrow to Sweden!
Ensinäkin pieni pahoittelu, että en ole jaksanut päivittää blogia viime kisojen jälkeen. Olen ollut erittäin väsynyt viime viikon ja minulla ei ole ollut aikaa kirjoittaa tätä.
Mutta viime viikonlopusta vielä pieni sananen, kilpailu sujui odotuksiin nähden hyvin. Hävisin 3 peliä ja 1 voitin. 4 pelistä on pakko kertoa hieman, että olin ensin 2-0 häviöllä, mutta sisuunnuin ja voitin 3 erän 17-15. Lopulta peli päättyi minun 3-2 häviöön.
Nyt viikonloppuna eli huomenna alkaa toinen ulkomaan turnaukseni Malmössä. Lähden samalla lennolla millä viime viikolla, eli aikainen herätys taas tiedossa. (5.15) Malmössä pelini alkaa 12.00 turnauksen 3/4 sijoitettua vastaan. Huomenna minulla on kaksi peliä, toinen 18.40 samaa ruotsalaista vastaan, jota vastaan pelasin jo Tanskassa. Lauantaina minulla on vielä yksi lohkovaiheen peli 9.30 norjalaista vastaan, jonka voitin Tanskassa 3-1.
Nyt vain nukkumaan ja huomenna aikasin kentälle!
First of all, a small regret that I have not bothered to update the blog after the last tournament. I have been very tired last week and I have not had the time to write this.
But last weekend, still a small a word, the competition went well compared to the expectations. I lost 3 games and won one. The fourth match is to tell a little bit that I was losing the first 2-0, but I pull myself together and I won 3 game 17-15. In the end, the match ended 3-2 for my loss.
Now, the weekend, or tomorrow, start of the second international tournament in Malmö. I'm leaving on the same flight which last week, so early wake up again known. (5.15) In Malmö, my first match starts 12.00 pm against 3/4 seeded. Tomorrow I have two games, the second 18.40 the same against the Swedish, against whom I played in Denmark. On Saturday, I have one group stage game 9.30 Norwegian, whom I beat Denmark 3-1.
Now, just go to sleep and tomorrow early to the airport!

First international tournament!
Huomenna on aika lähteä minun ensimmäiseen ulkomaan kilpailuun Tanskaan. Odotan kisaa erittäin innolla ja toivon, että saan laadukkaita pelejä.
Valmistautumistani on haitannut pieni nilkka vamma, viime viikonlopun liigakierrokselta. Pääsin treenaamaan vasta keskiviikkona, mutta ei saa antaa tämän haitata ja täytyy yrittää parhaansa!
Huominen tulee olemaan erittäin rankka päivä, lento Kööpenhaminaan lähtee 7.35, joten kentällä täytyy olla jo kuuden aikaa aamulla. Ensimmäiset pelit alkavat 12.10 Tanskan aikaan, joten ehdin vielä lepäillä hallilla ennen ensimmäistä ottelua.
Huomista erittäin innokkaasti odottaen!
Tomorrow is my first time to go to international competition in Denmark. I look forward to the competition and I hope that I get a high-quality games.
To prepare for has been harmed by a small ankle injury last weekend, the league round. My first training at this week was in Wednesday, but must not let this interfere with and must try their best!
Tomorrow will be a very tough day, flight to Copenhagen departs 7.35, so in the airport must have been six time in the morning. First games start at 12.10 Danish time, so I have time to cool off in the hall before the first match.
