Lauantain ensimmäinen peli oli aamulla 9.40 norjalaista vastaan, jonka voitin Tanskassa 3-1. Pelissä lyöntini sujuivat hyvin ja menivät minne halusinkin, eli kontrolloin pelin kulkua alusta loppuun. Peli päättyi minun 3-0 voittoon. Voitolla pääsin pelaamaan sijoista 9-12, joten seuraava peli oli samana iltana 18.00. Jäin pelin jälkeen katsomaan muiden suomalaisten pelejä, ja sitten lähdin hotellille lepäämään.
Lauantain toinen peli oli ruotsalaista vastaan, voitin pelin suoraan 3-0. Peli oli helppo, koska vastustajasta huomasi, että hän ei ole pelannut vielä paljoa. Koska peli oli ollut toisella hallilla (The Club Malmö), siirryimme muutaman muun suomalaisen kanssa takaisin Bellevuen hallille syömään, ja katsomaan pojat alle 19 semi finaalit. Kisoissa tehtiin myös suomalaista squash historiaa, kun kaksi suomalaispelaajaa selvitti tiensä P19 finaaliin!
Sunnuntaina minun viimeinen sijoituspeli oli 10.40, sijoista 9-10. Vastustajani oli Henrietta Huuhka Kuopiosta, hävisin pelin suoraan 3-0. Peli meni paljon paremmin mitä edelliset ottelut hänen kanssaan, mutta silti tuli liikaa omia tyhmiä virheitä.
Palasimme Suomeen myöhään illalla, joten meillä oli erittäin paljon aikaa ennen lentoa. Päätimme lähteä suoraan kentälle, jossa lopulta olimme kevyet 4 tuntia :D.
Kaiken kaikkiaan turnaus meni hyvin ja oli erittäin hieno kokemus, koska olinhan yksin matkassa ensimmäistä kertaa!
On Saturday, I had two games, and I won both!
Saturday's first match was in the morning at 9.40, against Norwegian whom I beat in Denmark 3-1. The game went well, and my shots went wherever I wanted to, and I controlled the flow of the game from start to finish. The match ended 3-0 in my victory. I was able to play for ranking 9-12, so the next game was the same day at 18.00. I stayed in the venue after the game to look at other Finns games, and then I went to the hotel to rest.
Saturday's second game was against the Swedes, I won the game to 3-0. The game was easy, because the opponent has not played much yet. Since the game was in the second hall (The Club Malmoe), we moved to with a few other Finns to the back of the Bellevue hall to eat, and watch the boys under 19 semi finals. In the tournament were also Finnish squash history when two Finnish players made their way to the finals BU19!
On Sunday, my last match was at 10.40, ranking 9-10. My opponent was Henrietta Huuhka from Finland also, I lost the game to 3-0. The game went much better what previous matches with her, but still became too much of my own stupid mistakes.
We returned to Finland late in the evening, so we had quite a lot time before the flight. We decided to go directly to the airport, and in the end we were at the airport about four long hours. :D
All in all, the tournament went well and was a very great experience, because I was alone in the tournament for the first time!
